Because
at London Cyrenians Housing we have chosen to concentrate our time and energies on doing the work and delivering the outcomes rather than distributing expensively tailored rhetoric. We want our reputation to speak for itself not through glossy brochures and marketing. So why not take the Cyrenian challenge??? For those who are interested in our work come along and have a look at what we do….. We believe you can tell more about an organisation in a 30-minute visit to its projects than a lifetime of leaflets.
Support and help……. Can be in a number of ways:
If you can give time ….. LCH offers opportunities to give something back to society through volunteering. All volunteers receive training and ongoing support to develop their skills. Volunteers of all ages and previous experience are needed to:
- Become involved on the Management Committee.
- Become involved in our London Marathon team.
- Become involved as a befriender to a project helping with outings and activities.
- Raise funds by taking part/organising local fundraising and community events.
If you can give money…. The number of people needing help has never been greater. It is thanks to the generosity of supporters and partners that LCH has been able to extend its services. If you are able to make a financial contribution, there are several ways you can donate. Most donations are now eligible for tax relief which means your gift has increased value to LCH at no extra cost to you.
Regular individual giving ….. A small donation given regularly can provide LCH and its service users with greater financial stability and the confidence to make longer term plans.
Legacies …. If you are thinking of writing or changing your will, please consider us.
Company support …. LCH welcomes contributions that businesses can make through corporate sponsorship, staff secondments, gifts in kind and by facilitating payroll giving. Recent charity tax changes mean that giving directly from your pay is now one of the most tax-efficient ways to donate money. Not only is your donation tax-free, but the government adds an extra 10% on top.
